Hola! Hello and welcome to my photography blog. My name's Rachel Darley, and I am based in northern New Jersey but service the trip-state area and beyond. I photograph families, children, couples, individuals, bugs, landscapes, and most often my niece (my muse!). This blog contains my most recent work, random happenings, and anything else that floats my boat. So please stay a while, look around, and in case you're wondering, everything is pretty much suitable for work ;) If you are interested in having me photograph you or your family or something else in your life, please send me an email.
Jill, Mike, and I met at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ this past (scorching) weekend for an engagement shoot. To say that I am shocked that we were not all baked into statues ourselves is an understatement. Also, if you've not been to the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, go and check it out (though, I'd recommend it on a much cooler day).
A few days ago was Will and Steph's one year wedding anniversary. A few months after their wedding (sometime last October) we did a "Trash the Dress" session, where they got all dolled up again and we went galavanting around parts of Connecticut. The best part about doing this kind of session is the fact that since it's not the wedding day, there's no feeling of having to rush from one place to another.
Please contact me ([email protected]) if you are interested in doing a photo session!
Anyone in the northeast knows how incredibly sucky, cold, and snowy this past winter was, so I had to wait (ever so impatiently) to finally photograph baby Aiden and his parents. Anyone who meets him is instantly under his spell. He is just so ADORABLE, as well as curious, and independent. Well, no need to say, just look at the images :)
(Many thanks to Richfield Farms in Clifton for allowing us to shoot there!)
